Well I haven't checked in, in a while, so heres a run down. Pretty basic days, but recently this Saturday was pretty awesome. Well first off, I had my White Belt test. It went great. I got a A+ on One Step Sparring, ton of A's, a few A-'s, and a B+ in Flexiblity, I figured as much cause that is the main thing I have to work on. Overall Grade: A. I also broke my first board too. Mark had to choose the thickest board they had up there and there was ironically 2 left. I couldn't just let him break a thick board without me! Pshh! LOL, so anyways, Instructor Manny was holding for Mark and Instructor Brandon was holding for me. Manny says to Mark, "I know you can probably break this, but can she?" Marks responce, "Don't worry, She'll break it." I thought that was wicked funny, and I did on my first try. We both broke. You don't even really feel the break, it just kinda happens. I mean you do, but it happens so quickly. It was funny too how we both broke it in the same place. It was centered but off to the side a bit. They were almost idenitcal. We both got an A. I was happy. Well anyways, we got our White Belts, which doesn't sound to awesome, but at this school we go to, you have to earn your White Belt, not just start out with it.
Afterwards, I went to the INSANE mall, fully of CRAZY Christmas shopping freaks, who park their cars and trucks up on snow banks, and sideways, and ontop of the mall, well pretty close to it. *I* just needed to pay a damned bill, holy mother of pearl! But it was cool cause I met up with Joe and Katie for lunch, and then accually did some Christmas shopping with Traci and Gary! Also taught Wallace the "SU-FI" which is short for the SUper-FInger. It the maga FU, just search for SU-FI and Dane Cook. That was a bad idea. LOL.
Then after the mall I was off to Pat's Black Belt Ceremony. It was really cool, and the party after was great!! Jay was there with Jess, and we had a really great time. Mark and I are glad we went, and we got to know the Instructors on a more relaxed bases, then in class. Manny also tried to teach me how to "dance" well dance in the sense of how black guys dance. I kept telling him, "Umm I'm still white here. Yeah, you see this? Defantely white." Hell I can't dance like that, but I tried!! So with that, Im out!
